These data were collected as part of the Southern California Outer Continental
Shelf Baseline Program.  Documentation is limited to listing of format and
variables.

The data consist of intertidal biology (sandy and rocky beaches) and intertidal
(rocky) succession.

Environmental conditions (atmospheric pressure and temperature, winds, waves,
weather, clouds, visibility) are also available.

Because so many investigators are associated with this project, only the
investigators who submitted the data to NODC are listed in the personnel
